MOD Ranges at Langport,
Warminster & Bulford.
FDPC is affiliated to the NRA and has a number of qualified Range Conducting Officers (RCO's). This allows the club to hire Full-bore ranges at MOD establishments.
Unfortunately, you must be at least 14 years old to shoot on MOD ranges. You must also be in possession of a Safe Shooter Card (SSC); if not, you must be supervised on a 1:1 basis.
We currently have a licence to use Warminster, Bulford and Langport. Ranges go back to 900M at some locations, although normal shooting often starts at 100 or 300M. Be prepared for early starts - often 08:30 on the firing point ! Make sure you bring ID with you (FAC / Driving Licence).
As well as the need for a RCO, the club must provide a qualified first-aider and you must be prepared to take your turn in the Butts, to mark targets etc.

Practical Shotgun (PSG) Venues
The club has access to a couple of locations to shoot PSG. This is mainly private farmland.
You can only shoot Birdshot and SG on this land; to shoot slug the location must be specifically certified for that type of ammunition (and you need to have slug on your FAC).
The club's primary location to shoot PSG is currently the Elm Shooting Centre ranges at Wanstrow. Nearest postcode BA4 4SN.
