The "Committee" !!
The club is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Committee. The current incumbants, their roles, responsibilities and contact details are below. Some roles are mandatory (such as a Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary, Police Liaison); others are appointed to undertake certain roles, such as competitions, bookings, social etc. The Committee can also co-opt members, as required.
The President - the 'elder statesman' and figurehead of the club; oversees the activities of the club and provides advice and guidance to the committee and members. Will have a wide range of knowledge of the club, it's history, the disciplines and the law regarding shooting. Should be able to seek and maintain wider connections in the shooting community and the authorities.
The Chairman - manages the committee on behalf of the members; chairs meetings; provides strategic direction; maintains / initiates links with authorities and national bodies. Will have detailed knowledge of shooting law relating to clubs, and ensures club runs in a responsible manner. Will run or initiate major projects or activities; seeks to provide for all elements of the membership, drawing on knowledge of the club's history and ethos.

The Secretary - Is the legally appointed representative of the club by the Home Office - provides the point of contact for Police and other authorities. Manages all aspects of administration (except financial), such as minutes of meetings, insurances, affiliations and MOD range licences. Maintains records of range attendance; is official Police Liaison Officer and Data Controller in respect to data protection.

The Membership Secretary - Administers all aspects on membership - renewals, new applications, departures and promotions (i.e. from Provisional to Full). Issues membership cards and range passes. Liaises with Police to manage applications, resignations and attendance reporting. Ensures distribution of club related material to the whole membership.

The Treasurer. Responsible for all aspects of financial management. Administers the club bank account. Manages all payments and receipts to and from the club. Prepares the annual club accounts for the AGM. Makes recomendations on and enacts investment advice for club funds.Maintains a record of club assets and trading stocks of consumables.
Currently, also holds the club FAC and manages the Club Guns.
