The Carbine (GRCF) Multi-Target 3 Competition                    (Previous Results)


 Firearm - Any pistol calibre carbine (i.e. 38/357; 44; 9mm – not 7.62 or 223 !), inc LBR. Any Sights. No bipods, slings or other artificial supports. 48 rounds required.


Target - Two x DP1 Targets


Scoring - Breaking line to count as higher score. Ties resolved on count-back of X’s, 5’s 4’s etc.  Max Score is 240 (24x)


Procedure -  Start position for all stages – gun 45 deg to ground, standing unsupported. Gun must start with 6 rounds ONLY loaded, for each practice. Change position before reloading.


Practice 1

50 metres, 18 shots in 120 seconds

6 shots kneeling on the left hand target

6 shots sitting on the right hand target

6 shots standing unsupported, 3 on each target


Practice 2

25 metres, 12 Shots

The target will make 4 x 5 second appearances with intervals of 7 seconds Any number of shots (of the 12)  may be fired at each exposure but only 6 shots will be counted on each target.


Practice 3

15 metres, 12 shots standing unsupported

The target will make 3 x 3 second appearances with intervals of 5 seconds

2 shots to be fired at each appearance on the right hand target – 6 shots in total

The practice is then repeated using the left hand target – 6 shots in total


Practice 4

10 metres, 6 shots (3 on each target) in 8 seconds standing unsupported
